Charlotte qualified as a Registered Mental Health Nurse in March 2001. After training at Northumbria University she has worked with young people and families for the past 16 years. Charlotte completed intensive training to deliver Dialectal Behaviour Therapy (DBT), specialising in therapy for children and teenagers with emotional difficulties and risk taking behaviour.

Charlotte has a BSc in Practice Development in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services from Northumbria University. She has high level training in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) to work with trauma, anxiety and related symptoms. She is working towards accreditation with the EMDR Association of UK and Ireland.
